EC assigns 10 officials to receive poll-related information, allegations

DHAKA, Jan 6, 2026 (BSS) – The Election Commission (EC) has appointed 10 officials to receive poll-related information and allegations ahead of the upcoming 13th national election and referendum scheduled for February 12.

EC Secretariat Deputy Director Salahuddin Ahmad was assigned for Khulna region. His mobile number is 0171-2591144 while email is [email protected].

Election Training Institute’s Deputy Director Mohamamd Nurul Hasan Bhuiyan will receive polls-related information and allegations in Faridpur region. His mobile number is 01711-369976, and email is [email protected].

Mymensigh region, EC Secretariat’s Senior Assistant Secretary Mohammad Murad Uddin Hawlader is entrusted with the responsibility of the region. His mobile number is 0171-2044188 and email is [email protected].

Barishal, EC Secretariat Assistant Secretary Mohammad Al-Mamun was assigned in the region. His mobile number is:0193-7638035 and email is [email protected].

EC’s Assistant Director Misbah Uddin Ahmed has been assigned for Sylhet region. His mobile number is 0171-7244078 while his email is [email protected].

EC Secretariat Assistant Director Zakir Mahmud was assigned in Dhaka region. His mobile number is 0171-8564635 while email is [email protected].

EC Secretariat Assistant Secretary Syed Golam Rashed is assigned in Rangpur region. His mobile number is 0181-8268082 and email is [email protected].

Earlier, the EC has formed polls inquiry and judiciary committee in coordination with judicial department officials for 300 parliamentary constituencies on December 14, 2025.
The polls related information and allegations also will be filed at this committee under concerned constituencies.
