Women and Children Affairs Ministry Sharmeen S Murshid has said the young
generation brought revolutionary change through the ages, including the
Liberation War in 1971 and July Uprising in 2024.

Sharmeen S Murshid also said the VU can make its curricular programmes more
modern and time fitting for sustainable solutions of various existing
problems, particularly drought, river erosion and climate change, in the
northern region.

The VU should focus on generating time-fitting human resources keeping pace
with the global system and technology-based economy, she added.

In the convocation, 5,384 graduates and postgraduates from summer 2020 to
spring semester 2025 got degrees. Besides, five graduates received chancellor
