DHAKA, Dec 20, 2025 (BSS)- A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held tomorrow to observe the moon of Rajab, 1447 Hijri.

The meeting is scheduled at 5:15 pm after Maghrib prayers at the Islamic Foundation hall in Baitul Mukarram national Mosque, Dhaka, a press release said today.

The session will review reports regarding the sighting of the Rajab moon and take a decision accordingly.

Religious Affairs Adviser Dr A F M Khalid Hossain will preside over the meeting.

The Islamic Foundation has requested to notify the concerned Deputy Commissioner or Upazila Executive Officer of the respective district or inform the committee by calling 02-41053294, 02-226640510, 02-223383397 if the moon of Rajab is sighted anywhere in Bangladesh.
