DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - The British High Commission in Dhaka today expressed deep sorrow over the death of youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha, offering heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and supporters.

In a condolence message, the British High Commission said it was "deeply saddened by the passing of youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi" and conveyed deep sympathy to those grieving his loss during this difficult time.

The message adds to a growing number of international expressions of condolence following Hadi's death, which has prompted widespread mourning across the country.

Sharif Osman Hadi, 32, was shot last week in Dhaka and passed away on Thursday while undergoing treatment in a Singapore hospital.
