DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - Adviser to the Ministries of Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Sharmeen S Murshid has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, an intrepid frontline fighter of the July Mass Uprising and spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha.

In a condolence message, issued today, she said the news of Sharif Osman Hadi's death is extremely painful for the nation.

The Adviser further said that some people never truly die, as their ideals, sacrifices and revolutionary dreams spread from generation to generation in people's hearts.

Sharmeen S Murshid said Sharif Osman Hadi was a valiant frontline fighter of the July Mass Uprising and an epic symbol of boundless courage and the highest inspiration of sacrifice born in the hearts of millions. He was an active and courageous voice of his time.

She added that Hadi's role in contemporary political, social and cultural movements had become a source of inspiration for many, and the void created by his untimely demise will not be easy to fill.

The Adviser prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed her deep sympathy to his bereaved wife, family members, fellow fighters and well-wishers.
