Two-day e-filing training workshop begins at BSS 

  DHAKA, Dec 18, 2021 (BSS) - A two-day 'e-filing' training workshop for BSS journalists and employees began today at its head office in the capital's Purana Paltan.

  BSS Managing Director and Chief Editor Abul Kalam Azad inaugurated the training programme at the national news agency's board room. 

  BSS Managing Editor Muhammad Anisur Rahman, Chief News Editor Samir Kanti Barua, Chief News Editor (Bangla) Ruhul Ghani Jyoti, Chief Reporter Tareq Al Naser, Planning, Development and Administration Chief Mohammad Ali Khan, Chief Accountant Mohammad Jasim Uddin and System Engineer Kaiser Ahmed were, among others, present. 

  Assistant Programmer of the a2i Md Suman is conducting the workshop.

  Speaking at the inaugural session, Abul Kalam Azad said 'Digital Bangladesh' is not a dream rather it is now a reality although when it was launched, a section of people made misleading comments against the concept. 

   Highlighting the importance of the training for BSS journalists and employees, he said this training will help them go ahead maintaining pace with other sections of the society.

  He said receiving training is not enough, it will have to be implemented to bring dynamism in the activities of the organization along with ensuring transparency and accountability. 

   A total of 33 staff of the BSS are taking part in the training.
