JHENAIDAH, Dec 13, 2025 (BSS)- Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman today said that the roots of the attackers on Inquilab Mancha convenor Sharif Osman Hadi will be uprooted soon.

He made the remark while talking to journalists after a special prayer meeting organized by the members of the Hindu community at Malthia village under Shailkupa upazila here for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia.

“Hadi is a hero of the July mass uprising, today he is undergoing treatment after being shot by terrorists, we are praying for him wholeheartedly.” he said.

Attorney General said the shooting on Hadi is an isolated incident. It’s a conspiracy to sabotage the coming.

He alleged that the terrorists of the defeated autocratic regime are targeting the leaders of the July mass uprising in an attempt to destroy it but they will not be succeeded.

He said the upcoming general election will be fair and peaceful. The government and the Election Commission are fully committed to holding a free and fair election.
