KYIV, Ukraine, Dec 12, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - A double bomb blast in Kyiv on Thursday killed a serviceman and wounded four others, including two police officers, city prosecutors said.

"The first explosion occurred while two National Guard servicemen were patrolling the area, as a result one of them died," the Kyiv city prosecutor's office said on social media, adding a second "improvised explosive device" was detonated when police and medics were responding to the first blast.
