DHAKA, Dec 7, 2025 (BSS) - The play 'Siraj-ud-Daulah' will be staged tomorrow at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

'Prottay Bangladesh Jatradal' from Netrokona will perform the production at the Experimental Theatre Hall on Monday at 6:30 pm. The play is written by Sachin Sengupta and directed by Jewel Rana.

Organised by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and coordinated by the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, the month-long jatra festival began on December 1. A total of 36 troupes are scheduled to stage 36 plays, along with a special Victory Day production titled 'General Osmani'.

The jatra shows take place every day at 6:30 pm, with tickets priced at Tk 100.
