JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Nov 23, 2025 (BSS) - Jahangirnagar University (JU) will hold an orientation programme for students of the first-year Bachelor (Honours) class under 2024-25 academic session (54th batch) on November 25.

The programme is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am at the Zahir Raihan Auditorium, according to a notice issued today by Acting Registrar A B M Azizur Rahman. 

JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan will attend the event as the chief guest.

The programme will also be attended by Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr M Mahfuzur Rahman, Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr Sohel Ahmed, Treasurer Prof Dr M Abdur Rob, deans of faculties, directors of institutes, and the proctor. 

Director of the Students' Counselling and Guidance Centre Prof Md Jamal Uddin will preside over the event.

The notice added that all classes and examinations for the 2024-25 session will be suspended on the day of the orientation.
