Khalid said Digital Bangladesh is not only a dream but it has also been
executed by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

   It's a sign of achievements and progress in the field of Information
Communication and Technology (ICT) sector. The present government has been
providing digital facilities to the people of the country said the State
Minister at discussion marking the Digital Bangladesh Day that held at Shahid
Hazrat Ali Auditorium of Muktagacha Upazila Parisad this noon.

  Muktaga Upazila Parisad organised the discussion in cooperation with ICT
division.

  Presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Abdullah Al Mansur it was
addressed, among others, by Mayor Alhaj Billal Hossen Sarker, Upazila Parisad
Chairman (incharge) Md Arab Ali, Vice Chairman Kakali Begum, Upazila
Education Officer (UDO) Shadat Hossen , Agriculture Officer Amdadul Haque .

  Khalid said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declared to turn Bangladesh in to
a Digital Bangladesh in Party's election manifesto in 2008. Under the
leadership of Shajib Wazed Joy the adviser of ICT to Prime Minister of
Bangladesh turned in to a Digital Bangladesh.

  He urged all to work unitedly for building Sonar Bangla as dreamt by the
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu and to be aware about the conspiracies of
the anti liberation forces.

  Later, State Minister distributed prizes among the winners of debate
competition on Digital Bangladesh.

  He also distributed sports materials among the heads of educational
institutions, Besides Khalid distributed books among saloon library which was
alone initiated by him. He also distributed CI sheets and agri incentives
high yielding verity of Boro seeds and fertilisers among the poor marginal
farmers of the upazila.
