DHAKA, Nov 7, 2025 (BSS) -Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy is set to host the first solo photography exhibition of young photographer Abu Rasel Rony, showcasing 50 selected works, each capturing a distinct story that reflects the artist's perceptions, emotions, and view of the world.
The seven-day exhibition will be held from November 8 to 14 at Gallery 5 of the National Art Gallery, remaining open to visitors daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The inaugural ceremony will be held tomorrow afternoon, with eminent photographer Nasir Ali Mamun attending as the chief guest. Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Sheikh Rezauddin Ahmed will preside over the event.
Abdul Halim Chanchal, Director of the Department of Fine Arts, will deliver the welcome address.
Speaking about his work, photographer Abu Rasel Rony said, "Whenever something compels me to think deeply, I try to capture it through my lens. My photography seeks to explore the questions of what, why, and how. For me, photography is a unique storytelling medium and each image carries its own inner narrative."
