DHAKA, Dec 9, 2021(BSS) - Bangladesh bank (BB) has printed a commemorative 
gold coin of taka 50 marking the Golden Jubilee of Independence.   

  This commemorative gold coin will be available for sold from the head 
office of BB from December 15 and later from all branches of BB, said a press 
release. 

   The coin made of 25 mm diameter corrugated design and 22 carat gold with a 
face value of taka 50 weighs 10 grams.  

  The taka 50 commemorative gold coin featured a portrait of the Father of 
the Nation  Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (speech of March 7,1971) on the 
front ,and on the top of the portrait is inscribed in a semicircle 'Golden 
Jubilee of Independence 1971-2021'. 

   The price of the commemorative gold coin has been fixed at sixty six 
thousand taka including the commemorative box.
