Those who harm communal-harmony have no religion: Faridul

DHAKA, Nov 12, 2021 (BSS) - State Minister for Religious Affairs Faridul Haque Khan today said those involved in destroying communal harmony and conducting anti-humanitarian activates in the country are not the followers of any religion.

     "Those who destroy communal harmony are engaged in misdeeds against humanity. They do not follow any religion," he said.

     The minister was speaking as the chief guest at an inter-religious dialogue in the meeting room of the Deputy Commissioner's office as the chief guest in Madaripur with the participation of esteemed people's representatives, political leaders, religious leaders and government officials, a press release said.

     With Madaripur Deputy Commissioner Dr Rahima Khatun in the chair, it was addressed, among others, by Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Liberation War Affairs Bir Muktijoddha Shahjahan Khan, MP, and Publicity and Publication Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap, MP, as special guests.
