BARGUNA, May 24, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcycle rider died and his two co-riders were injured when a tree fell on them in the Pachakoralia area under Taltoli upazila of Barguna district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Shariat Biswas, 19, son of Alamgir Biswas, a resident of the same area.

According to police, the accident occurred around 8:30 am when a partially cut tree suddenly fell on the motorcycle, critically injuring all three riders.

The injured were taken to Amtoli Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared Shariat dead.

Md. Shahjalal, Officer-in-Charge of Taltoli Police Station, confirmed the incident.
