DHAKA, May 19, 2025 (BSS) - Liberation War Affairs Adviser Farooq E Azam, Bir Pratik, today gave directives to the authorities concerned to complete the ministry’s development projects on time.

He also urged them to be aware that there is no complaint about the quality of the project, said a press release here.

The adviser made the call while addressing the annual development meeting for 2024-2025 fiscal of the ministry till April 2025.

He warned about the irregularities in project implementation, saying no irregularities in the projects will be tolerated.

Public welfare related work should be given top priority for taking projects and their implementation, he said, adding, money of the projects cannot be wasted in way.

He said that if the projects could not be completed on time, the cost of the projects will up , which is not desirable at all.

He urged the officials to give the best efforts to finish the projects within the stipulated time.

The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has nine projects in 2024-2025 fiscal year, involving a total allocation of Taka 931.40 crore.

The meeting was attended by Secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs Israt Chowdhury, heads of different departments and organizations under the ministry and project directors.
