DHAKA, Oct 25, 2021 (BSS) - A coordination meeting marking the closing ceremony of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Centenary was held today at the International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) here. 

   Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee arranged the meeting for taking preparation to organise the closing ceremony of the birth centenary and the golden jublee function of victory on 16th December, said a press release.

  The birth centenary closing ceremony and golden jublee of victory function will be held at the south plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad. The theme of the event will be 'Great Hero of Great Victory'.

  Another event will also be held at Tungipara of Gopalganj district and the theme will be 'Fatherland in the heart of Tungipara.'

  Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Local Government, Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives Minister Md Tazul Islam, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, 

   Former minister and cultural figure Asaduzzaman Noor, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak , State Minister for Housing and Public Works Sharif Ahmed,

   Jatiya Sangsad Whip Iqbalur Rahim, Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shameem, Ashim Kumar Ukil and other members, including secretaries, cultural personalities, journalists and heads of different organizations, among others, were present at the meeting.
