DHAKA, Oct 21, 2021 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Bahauddin Nasim today said that the country is progressing fast even amid the pandemic under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

     "Most of the countries in the world witnessed economic backdrop during the pandemic, but Bangladesh was different as it maintained economic growth under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In many cases we are now even ahead of India", said Nasim.

     Nasim was addressing an extended meeting of Meherpur District Awami League as the chief guest.

     Nasim said leaders and activists of Awami League, Jubo League, Swechchhasebak League, Chhatra League and its associate bodies helped the farmers in harvesting paddy during the Corona.

     State Minister for Public Administration and President of AL Meherpur District Farhad Hossain presided over the meeting while AL Organizing Secretary BM Mozammel Haque, Amirul Alam Milon, MP, Advocate Gloria Sarker Jharna, MP, District AL's General Secretary MA Khaleq and Shahaduzzaman Khaleq, MP, among others, were present.
