DHAKA, Oct 21, 2021 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today directed all concerned departments of his ministry to complete the works of the projects being implemented by his ministry for the 2021-22 fiscal year.

  The minister gave the directive at a meeting with the concerned directorates and departments under his ministry on the progress of different projects as directed by the Prime Minister, said a release received here today.

  The 15 projects include setting up six TV centers of Bangladesh Television, modern and digital equipment at Betar Bhaban, setting up 1000 kilometer medium wave transmitter of Bangladesh Betar, modernizing Sylhet center of Bangladesh Betar and setting up digital equipment, modernizing the central broadcasting system of BTV, constructing modern information complex including information hub and Cineplex at district level of Mass Communication Department, Children and Women Development Communication Project, introducing audio visual news under Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha and to increase the ability of journalists in creating audio visual news.
