DHAKA, Dec 30, 2024 (BSS) - One more dengue patient died and 114 were admitted to different hospitals in the country in the past 24 hours.

"During the period, 15 dengue patients were hospitalized in Barishal division, 11 in Chattogram division, 30 in Dhaka division (outside of city corporations), 18 in Dhaka North City, 21 in Dhaka South City, nine in Rajshahi division, nine in Khulna division and one in Mymensingh division," said a press release,  issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

This year, a total of 573 people died of dengue disease, it added.

Meanwhile, 141 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in last 24 hours. With this, a total of 99,902 people have been discharged this year.
