DHAKA, Oct 17, 2021 (BSS) - The 12th meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Welfare was held today at Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban here with its chairman Rashed Khan Menon in the chair.

   Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed as well as State Minister for Social Welfare Md Ashraf Ali Khan and other committee members, including Sagufta Yasmin, Aroma Dutta and Shabnam Jahan attended the meeting, among others.

   The meeting reviewed progress of the implementation of the decisions taken in its earlier meeting.

  Social welfare secretary, senior officials of the ministry and JS secretariat were present at the meeting.
