Marathi version of Bangabandhu's 'The Unfinished Memories' unveiled

  DHAKA, Oct 13, 2021 (BSS) - The Marathi version of Father of Nation

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 'The Unfinished Memories' was
unveiled through a programme in Mumbai, India today by the Bangladesh
Deputy High Commission.

   Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari was present in the
programme as the chief guest while President of Mumbai Marathi
Journalists Association Narendra Wabel, President of Honorary Consul
General Group Vijay Kalantri and Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner
in New Delhi Md Nurul Islam were present as special guests, an
official release said.

   A video message of Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen
was displayed on the occasion.

   Momen, in his video message, said that the Mumbai Deputy High
Commission has added a new dimension by unveiling the Marathi version
named 'Opurno Attokotha'.

  The Marathi language of the region has been added to the two dozen
languages in which this historical book has been translated, he added.

   Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner to Mumbai Md Lutfar Rahma
mentioned that this book will help Marathi people to gain authentic
knowledge of the politics of the Father of the Nation and his ideals.
