RAJSHAHI, Oct 10, 2021 (BSS)- Rajshahi University (RU) has started

publishing results of its just concluded admission test for the first year
honours courses under 2020-2021 academic session from today.

   On the opening day today, the varsity authority has published results of
'C' unit comprising the faculties of Science and Agriculture.

   Vice-chancellor Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar accompanied by his office
colleagues formally announced the result of the unit this noon.

   Professor Sabbir said the results are now available in the
admission.ru.ac.bd website in detail. He said the successful students will
have to fill-up subject choice according to preference online within October
13 to 18. If any student fails to fill-up the form his or her candidature
will be cancelled in the unit.

   Professor Golam Sabbir also said the selected students will have to
complete their admission process within October 25 and 27.

   Students will be selected for admission for the vacant seat from the
waiting list according to merit and subject choice.

   The VC also said results of other units will be published in phases.

   This year, a total of 1,27,647 students appeared in the admission tests
from October 4 to 6 last against 4191 seats in 59 departments under 12
faculties and two institutes as 31 students are vying for each seat this
year, RU sources said.
