DHAKA, June 11, 2024 (BSS) - Newly-appointed Chief of Air  Force Hasan Mahmood Khan was adorned with the rank badge of ‘Air Marshall’ in presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban today.

Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan adorned the new air chief with the rank badge of Air Marshal.

On March 26 last, Air Vice Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan was appointed as the new chief of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) by elevating him to the rank of air marshal.

He will take over as the new chief of Bangladesh Air Force on June 11 for three years.

Hasan Mahmood will succeed outgoing Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan.
