DHAKA, May 26, 2024 (BSS) - Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun today asked officials concerned to implement all the projects of the ministry quickly.

"Many projects of the Ministry of Industries will be completed within a short time. The projects which have not yet been implemented for a small amount of money should be completed quickly. Project managers have to take effective initiatives in this regard," he said.

The minister said this while presiding over the Annual Development Program (ADP) review meeting at the ministry conference room in the city, said a press release.

Senior Secretary of the Industries Ministry Jakia Sultana moderated the meeting.

In his speech, Humayun instructed the officials concerned to take necessary steps for increasing the number of projects of the Ministry of Industries under the green leaf of ADP.

The meeting was informed that the implementation rate of the ADP under the Industries Ministry was 46.24 percent till April, 2024 of the fiscal 2023-24 (FY24).

The meeting was also informed that a total of 26 development projects are being implemented at cost of Taka 2,823.12 crore under the ADP of the Industries Ministry.
