COX’S BAZAR, May 19, 2024 (BSS) – The Armed Police Battalion (APBn) have arrested four members of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) after conducting a raid in Ukhiya upazila in Cox’s Bazar in the early hours of today.

The arrested were-- Amir Hossain, 29, son of Din Mohammad of Camp-17 in H block of Ukhiya, Ziaur Rahman ,32, son of late Fazal Karim of the same camp, Syedul Amin ,30, son of late Abdus Salam and Md Harun,22, son of Badsha Miah.

The APBn, being informed, conducted  the raid in the hill area adjacent to S1/B7 block of Rohingya camp number 20 and nabbed them, said Captain of 14 Armed Police Battalion and Additional DIG MD Iqbal.

They also seized arms and ammunition from their possession.

Legal actions have been taken against the arrested.
