KHULNA, Sept 23, 2021 (BSS) – Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud will distribute cheques among journalists as assistance as promised by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina here tomorrow.
A total of 75 Khulna journalists, who suffered during the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19), will receive Taka 7,50,000 given by the Journalists Welfare Trust, Khulna deputy commissioner Moniruzzaman Talukder told BSS.
The Information Minister will also visit Khulna Regional Betar center tomorrow morning and pay homage to Father of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreath at his mural on Betar premises.
He will leave Khulna for Dhaka tomorrow afternoon, he said.
