DHAKA, April 28, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh University (BU) today distributed fresh water and oral saline among 1,000 rickshaw pullers, day laborers and pedestrians in the city as the country is witnessing acute heatwave.

Teachers, students and officers of Business Administration Department of the private-run BU distributed water and oral rehydration solution (ORS) in Beribadh area in the city's Mohammadpur, said a press release.
 
Teachers of the department Md Tuhin Hossain, Farzana Islam, Rubaiyat Saimun Chowdhury, Sabuj Hossain and Hasan Talukder were present on the occasion, among others.
