DHAKA, Sept 20, 2021 (BSS) - A special court here today framed charges
against 41 leaders and activists of BNP including Amanullah Aman and Barkat
Ullah Bulu in two separate cases lodged under Special Powers' Act and
Explosives Substance Act.
Judge Fatima Kanika of Dhaka Special Tribunal-6 passed the order, setting
October 29 for start recording deposition of the witnesses.
According to the case documents, leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat
took position in front of National Bank on Rampura DIT Road on February 3,
2015, during its nation-wide hartal. They threw petrol bomb on a passengers'
bus, injuring one seriously. They also threw brickbats on police.
Rampura Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Babul Sharif filed the two cases
on that day.
