
JAMALPUR, Sept 17, 2021 (BSS) - State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Murad Hasan today vowed that struggle will be continued until the posthumous trial of killer Ziaur Rahaman would take place in the country.
"We want to take an oath that struggle will be continued until a posthumous trial of alleged killer Ziaur Rahman would take place on the soil of the country," he said.
The state minister was addressing the extending meeting of the Awna Union Awami League under Shrishabari Upazila here.
Dr Murad said: "There would be no graveyard of killer Zia in the holy Chandrima Uddyan."
Noting that the country had not been created by virtue of any body's kindness, the state minister said, adding that Bangladesh had been created with the sacrifice of blood by huge number of peoples.
So, eventually this Bangladesh is only belongs to Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, he said, adding: "The country is not for Ziaur Rahman, not for Begum Zia, killer Razakars and even not for Tarique Rahman, also a plotter of August 21 grenade attack."
Praising the role of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said Bangladesh is now walking toward the highway of development..."We have to reach the highest pick of prosperity and that's why all should to be united in rendering services to the nation."
Claiming himself as a 'servant', Dr Murad Hasan said, "The voters of my own constituency's are my masters and I am their servant."
Upazila Awami League President Sanwar Hossain Badsha, vice-president Mahbubur Rahman Helal and its general secretary Harun Ar Rashid, among others, were attended the meeting.
