DHAKA, March 7, 2024 (BSS) - Biman Bangladesh Airlines, country's national flag carrier today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of historic March 7.

Biman Board of Directors Chairman former senior secretary Mustafa Kamal Uddin, Managing Director and CEO Shafiul Azim, its Directors, officials, employees, among others, paid homage by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at the Biman head office Balaka. 

Later, a discussion was held on the historic occasion at the Balaka, a Biman press release said. 

Two documentary films "Swadhinata Ki Kore Amader Holo" and "Chiranjeeb Bangabandhu" based on Bangabandhu, the liberation war and the historical March 7 speech were also screened on the occasion.
