JASHORE, June 27, 2021 (BSS) – Awami League leader of Sharsha upazila Md Golam Morshed died of old age complications at a hospital in the capital city Dhaka last night.

He was 90.

He left behind his wife, four daughters and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Golam Morshed was a close associate of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, said Sharsha upazila AL president Sirajul Haque Monzu.

Golam Morshed was buried at his family graveyard after a namaj-e-janaja at Eidgah Field at Durgapur village of the upazila this noon.
