JAMALPUR, Sept 11, 2021 (BSS) - State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Md Murad Hassan today said that Bangladesh has reached a unique height in the world by overcoming all obstacles under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

     "The people became strong imbued with the spirit of liberation war. Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the country now has reached a new height," he told the tri-annual conference of the Municipal Awami League at the Fouzdari mor of zila sadar area in Jamalpur as special guest.

    Awami League presidium member and former agriculture minister Begum Matia Chowdhury was present in the programme as chief guest while Education Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Dipu Moni ,Awami League Organizing Secretary and former State Minister Mirza Azam, Organizing Secretary Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haque Khan, AL Cultural Affairs Secretary Asim Kumar Ukil and AL members Raymond Areng and Marufa Akhter Popy joined it as special guests.

     With Municipal Awami League President Masum Reza Rahim in the chair, the event was conducted by General Secretary Bijan Kumar Chanda.
