NAOGAON, Jan 11, 2024 (BSS) - "Bangabandhu Corner" has been set up at the Naogaon Medical College (NMC) in the district.

Principal of Naogaon Medical College Professor Dr. Md. Bulbul Hasan formally inaugurated the Bangabandhu Corner as the chief guest this morning.

The NMC principal underscored the need for highlighting the true history of the Liberation War and ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman before the new generation to uphold the spirit of the Liberation War and build up the country as "Sonar Bangla".

Huge rare photographs of Bangabandhu, his political and life history mentioning date and year have been placed at the corner.

The corner will contribute to let the students of the college know about the life and noble works of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Founding Principal of the Naogaon Medical College Dr. Md. Abdul Bari, Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman, Dr. Mahbub Alam Siddiqui, leaders of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), Superintendent of Naogaon Sadar Hospital Dr. Zahid Nazrul Chowdhury, students of the medical college, among others were present.
