DHAKA, Oct 23, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Advisory Council Member and spokesperson of the 14-party alliance Amir Hossain Amu today said communal harmony is a tradition of the Bengalee nation and Bangladesh is a role model of communal harmony.
 
"In future, Bangladesh has to move forward under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, keeping the harmony of the thousand years of tradition of the Bangalee nation intact," he told a greeting letter, marking Durga Puja, the largest festival of the Bangalee Hindu Community.
 
"Such coexistence of people of all religions and castes is rare in the world," he said.
 
Congratulating the Hindu community on Vijaya Dasami, he said those who conspire against the wellbeing of the country and people by destroying communal harmony to disrupt the progress of the development of the country, are not friends of the country.
 
"There is no alternative to being united in the spirit of the Liberation War to fight evil forces," Amu, coordinator of 14 parties, said, adding it should be ensured that people of all religions can practice their respective religions peacefully.
