DHAKA, Oct 9, 2023 (BSS)-The newly appointed Commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Habibur Rahman today visited the office of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of police.

Habibur Rahman went to the CTTC office around 11:00am and was greeted and welcomed by CTTC chief and additional commissioner of the DMP Md Asaduzzaman.

The DMP Commissioner inspected various operational items and units including Dog Squad (K-9), SWAT, Bomb Disposal Team and Cyber Crime Department of the specialized unit of the DMP.

During the visit, Additional Police Commissioner and Detective Branch Chief Mohammad Harun or Rashid and other senior officials were present.

Habibur Rahman also discussed various issues specially operation against extremism, cyber activities and transnational crimes.
