DHAKA, Oct 9, 2023 (BSS) - A devastating fire that broke out at SA Paribahan Building in capital's Kakrail area was brought under control after 46 minutes effort, a fire service official said.

"After receiving message of fire at 10:12am, twelve fire engines rushed to the spot and brought the inferno at the building under control at 10.58am," said Lima Khan, duty officer of the fire service control room here.

The fire originated at the fourth floor of the building but the cause of the fire was not immediately known.

No casualty, as well, was reported due to the fire by now.
