DHAKA, Sept 22, 2023 (BSS) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of eminent filmmaker and former director general of Bangladesh Television Syed Salahuddin Zaki.

In a message of condolence, Sheikh Hasina said, the death of the renowned artist has caused an irreparable loss to the country's cultural arena.

He will be remembered by the countrymen through his creative work, she added.

The premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
