DHAKA, Sept 21, 2023 (BSS) - State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak has sought cooperation of IT companies of Lithuania for technological advancement of Bangladesh.

He made the call when Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis met with him at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in New York on September 20, an official release said today.

Palak said Lithuanian IT Companies are helping Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) of Bangladesh and hoped this cooperation will continue for building a long-tem strong bond between the two countries.

He laid emphasis on concerted efforts for maintaining safe cyber market in the world.

Bangladesh is setting up hi-tech parks, IT parks, knowledge parks and software technological parks, Palak said urging Lithuanian companies to invest in these parks.
