DHAKA, Sept 1, 2021 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today extended heartiest congratulations to the national cricket team for winning the first T20 match against New Zealand by seven wickets at the Sher-e Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) here.

In a felicitation message, the cricket-lover prime minister greeted all the players, coach and officials of the national cricket team as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials for beating New Zealand.

Sheikh Hasina expressed the hope that the winning spree of the Bangladesh cricket team would continue in future.

Bangladesh is hosting New Zealand for a five-match T20 International series. The remaining four matches will be held on September 3, 5, 8 and 10 at SBNCS.
