CHATTOGRAM, Sept 18, 2023 (BSS) - Two persons, including an elderly man, died and 147 dengue patients were hospitalized at various hospitals here in the last 24 hours.

 
According to the civil surgeon's office, a total of 147 dengue patients were hospitalized at various hospitals in Chattogram today.

Elderly man Chittoranjon Paul, 73, and 55-year-old Bhularam Das died at Chattogram Medical College Hospital in the last 24 hours.

Among them, 71 people were admitted to government hospitals and 76 people to private hospitals.
 
Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Iliyas Chowdhury said a total of 7,967 dengue patients have been detected in Chattogram this year and the number of dead has reached 68 in Chattogram.
