BRAHMANBARIA, Sept 2, 2023 (BSS) - Law Minister Anisul Huq today said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made Bangladesh a dignified country in the world. 

"After assuming power, the present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has implemented massive development programme across the country during the last 14 and a half years," he made the comments at a meeting at Bayek union here. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has uplifted Bangladesh from the state of 'bottomless basket' by driving the economic growth and attaining significant socio-economic development, the law minister said.

"Once Bangladesh was labeled as a bottomless basket, and it is Sheikh Hasina who has promoted the country before the world to a prestigious position by her dynamic leadership," he said. 

Anisul urged the workers and leaders of Awami League to be united for continuation of the current development spree of Bangladesh.
