NAOGAON, July 12, 2023 (BSS) – Food Minister Sadhan Chnadra Majumar today said the BNP’s anti-state conspiracy will be resisted.

“Future movements will be continued through united efforts of the youths against the conspirators,” he said this while addressing a triennial council of Awami Jubo League Porsha Upazila unit at Saraigachhi High School premises here.  

The minister urged the leaders and workers of the Awami Jubo League to play a bold role to foil BNP’s anti-state conspiracies.

“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has developed the country and no sector is behind from the development. We have to bring Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to power again,” he added.

He called upon the Jubo League to disseminate the development news to everyone.

Referring the BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s regime, Sadhan said a total of 19 farmers were killed for fertilizer, adding, “Even they didn’t get fertilizer, fuel for irrigation and also electricity.”

“This situation is not like that, so there is no shortage of fertilizer and electricity due to time befitting initiatives by the farmer friendly government,” he said.

The minister said, “We have to bring Sheikh Hasina to power again to continue the development works across the country.    

He mentioned that Naogaon-1 constituency was deprived from development but now the Awami League led government constructed around 400 kilometers road in the constituency.

Sadhan said that the government constructed Padma Bridge and metro rail and other mega projects are being implemented.

“The BNP is engaged in anti-state activities and hatching various conspiracies but the people will resist them. Jubo League leaders and workers will also resist them,” he added.

Chaired by Porsha Upazila Awami League acting president Md Rabiul Islam, the council was also addressed, among others, by Bangladesh Awami Jubo League joint general secretary Biswas Mutiur Rahman Badsha, organizing secretary Dr Helal Uddin, Upazila Awami League general secretary Mofazzal Hossain and Upazila Chairman Shah Manjur Morshed. District Awami Jubo league president Advocate Khodad Khan Pintu inaugurated the council.
