
DHAKA, July 5, 2023 (BSS) - The 21st founding anniversary of Bangladesh Jubo Mohila League, an associate body of the ruling Bangladesh Awami League (AL), will be observed tomorrow.
Bangladesh Jubo Mohila League President Daisy Sarwar and its General Secretary Sharmin Sultana Lily greeted all party leaders and activist on the occasion of the founding anniversary of Bangladesh Jubo Mohila League.
AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formed the Jubo Mohila League on July 6 in 2002.
To mark the day, Jubo Mohila League has taken two-day long programmes which include hoisting national and party flags at the party's central office, placing of wreath at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi road number 32 in the city, cutting of cake on the premises of Bangabandhu's residence at Dhanmondi road number 32 and bringing out a procession from Dhanmondi road number 32.
The party flag and national flag will be hoisted at the central office at 7 am tomorrow.
On the same day, tributes will be paid by placing wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi Number-32 at 8 am while a cake will be cut on the premises of Bangabandhu's residence at Dhanmondi Number-32 at 8.30 am.
Later, Jubo Mohila League will bring out a procession from Dhanmondi Road Number-32 here at 9am.
On this day, tributes will also be paid at the Mausoleum of Bangabandhu in Tungipara of Gopalganj district.
A Bangladeshi independent historical docudrama based on the life of AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina titled 'Hasina: A Daughter's Tale' will be screened at Bangabandhu Avenue at 2 pm in the city.
Marking the foundation anniversary, a discussion will be held at Bangabandhu Avenue here at 3 pm.
Besides, the tree plantation programme will be held at Ramna Kali Mandir in the city at 11 am on July 7.
All units of the party across the country have been instructed to hold the foundation anniversary programmes in line with the central programmes.
