CHANDPUR, Aug 25, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Planning Dr Shamsul Alam today said all the development works including Matlab-Gazaria Bridge, Daudkandi-Matlab North Regional Highway and  embankment-protection will be implemented in  future.

"All the development works including Matlab-Gazaria Bridge, Daudkandi-Matlab North Regional Highway and  embankment protection will be implemented. I want to reciprocate to the trust and confidence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in appointing me as the State Minister in the Ministry of Planning with utmost sincerity," he said.

He was speaking at a street rally organized by Matlab Uttar Upazila Baganbari Union Awami League in  Galimkha Banglabazar area in Chandpur as the chief guest

He said: "I have been a soldier of the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman throughout my life and I have fulfilled my responsibilities without doing any corruption."

"In the future too, I want to work relentlessly in the service of the people under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter with honesty and devotion," he added.

Chandpur-2 MP Advocate Nurul Amin Ruhul and Upazila Parishad Chairman MA Quddus also addressed the rally, among others.

Later, the state minister also attended a view- exchange meeting with officials and public representatives of various government departments of the upazila at the Upazila Parishad auditorium there.
