DHAKA, June 30, 2023 (BSS) - The fire that broke out in a launch named 'Moyur-7' at Sadarghat launch terminal in the city this morning has been doused.
 
Khaleda Yeasmin, duty officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room, confirmed the matter to BSS around 12.30pm. She said  a total of 13 firefighting units and a diving team brought the blaze under control around 12:10 pm after around one and a half hours of hectic efforts.
 
The launch was standing still on the banks of Sadarghat, she said, adding that the exact cause of the fire could not be known. There was no report of casualties from the fire incident.
 
The fire service official also said that the details will be informed later.
