
DHAKA, June 14, 2023 (BSS) -'Learning Management System' software titled 'DUBDLMS' has been launched at Dhaka University campus to bring its class, courses, examination management and evaluation system under automation.
"The software has been launched to avert any interruption of the university's academic activities during any adverse situation. Through the software, classes, courses, examination management system will be brought under automation", said DU Vice Chancellor Dr Akhtaruzzaman.
The Vice Chancellor made the remarks while inaugurating the software at university's Abdul Matin Virtual classroom.
Besides, the software will also facilitate to evaluate and publish the result of the university's regular examination within a short period of time, said Akhtaruzzaman.
Necessary measures have been taken to ensure the security of the date and information stored in the software, the VC said, adding, "Training and workshop will be organised to make the teachers and students familiar with the software".
The VC hoped that both the teachers and students will be benefitted by the software and the quality of education will also be enhanced.
A team led by DU ICL cell Director Professor Dr Mohammad Asif developed the software, said a university press release.
DU Pro-VC (Administration) Dr Mohammad Samad, DU Pro-VC (Academic) Dr ASM Maksud Kamal, DU treasurer Professor Momtaj Uddin Ahmed, deans of different faculties, teachers and officials, among others, were present on the occasion.
