BHOLA, June 10, 2023 (BSS) - State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak today urged the people of the country to cast their vote in favour of Awami League in the next general election.
 
"I am urging the people to vote for "Boat" to supplement the efforts of the government to build a Smart Bangladesh," he said at the inaugural function of Bhola Smart Job Fair-2023 in the auditorium of Lalmohan Upazila Parishad here.
 
The state minister said in the past 14 years, the present government has brought remote areas of the country under electrification coverage and ensured internet facilities for rural people.
 
The government has focused on digitization in rural settings for building a digital Bangladesh, he said adding, "Now we are imparting ICT based education to create skilled workforce to build an economically advanced country."
 
Lawmaker Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon, Police Superintendent Md Saiful Islam and IT experts, among others, were present at the function with Deputy Commissioner Md Taufiq-e-Lahi Chowdhury in the chair.
