BARISHAL, May 26, 2023 (BSS) - Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) Peace Accord Implementation and Monitoring Committee Convener Abul Hasnat Abdullah today urged all leaders and activists of Barishal district unit and metropolitan Awami League to work together to take the country forward.

"To advance the country and strengthen the organization, every leader and activist of Barishal district unit and metropolitan Awami League should forget all differences and work unitedly with honesty and devotion," he said.

He was addressing a special extended meeting of district and metropolitan Awami League at Gournadi Paurashava Chattar in Barishal, an official release said.

Noting that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a symbol of infinite courage and foresightedness in the arena of national economy, he reiterated that to move the country forward all have to work under the right direction of the premier.

State Minister for Water Resources Colonel (retd.) Zaheed Farooque, Awami League (AL) Presidium Members Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Abdur Rahman and Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim were also present, among others, on the occasion.
