DHAKA, May 24, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim today said stern action will be taken if anyone tries to make conspiracy against Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's daughter and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
 
Nasim told a memorial meeting as the chief guest marking the third death anniversary of former convener of Awami Swechchhasebak League Mokbul Hossain at Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh.

"We never want to destroy our motherland and we don't want to conflict," he said. 

Nasim said "the countrymen will give befitting reply unitedly if anybody tries to kill AL President Sheikh Hasina".

 The AL leader said when the country is moving forward under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina then the BNP-Jamaat are hatching conspiracy against the country and its people. 

Nasim also said the conspirators wants to come state power illegal way.

World leaders are lauding of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's dynamic leadership but the BNP doesn't like it the party wants to turn Bangladesh into Pakistan, he said.
 
BNP founder military dictator General Ziaur Rahman had established politics of killing and he stopped the trial of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's killers through the Indemnity Ordinance Act, Nasim added.
 
He said Mokbul Hossain was a soldier of Bangabandhu. He didn't bow down any evil force.
 
The meeting was addressed, among others, by Ahasanul Islam Titu, MP, vice president of Swechchhasebak League Md Abdur Razzaque and Dhaka City South Unit of Swechchhasebak League president Qamrul Hassan Ripon with acting president of Awami Swechchhasebak League Gazi Mesbahul Hossain Sachu in the chair.

Awami Swechchhasebak League general secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu moderated it.
